Dear Alicia
Hi it's AnnMarie from Green Nations Gathering.  I just checked out your web
site.   I hope you are getting enough rest.  You must be very busy.  Green
Nations was inspiring as usual.  Susun Weed was especially good this year.  I
guess maybe I was just ready to hear it.  It was really special meeting you.
Thanks for the art work and for adding some beauty to the world.
Stay well.
Love  AnnMarie O'Neil

(in reply to my asking permission to post her letter)

Alicia'
It's fine with me if you post my letter.  I taught an herb class at my local
library last night and I mentioned your book when a question about mother of vinegar
came up.  Nobody at this class remembered your book but some wrote down your
website.  Unfortunately I didn't have those cards with me, but I will bring
them with me to the Aromatherapy class I'm teaching in October.  Hope you're
well. nice to hear from you too.
                                   Love Ann Marie

  Conversation with storyteller Joanie Sutton

Dear Alicia,

Your "Living on the Earth-- The Musical" sounds wonderful!  People have urged me to
tell stories fromt the hippie days but I haven't done it much.  Would love to
see what you do.

Love, Joanie

Dear Joanie,

I remember the 60's as a time when young girls of profound faith hitchhiked
alone across the countryside unharmed, when drug use was intended for
expanding wisdom and understanding, when sharing was a way of life.  A
blending of the bizarre and the miraculous.  My career is a case in point.

Love, Alicia

Dear Alicia,

I love that description of the 60's, about idealistic girls hitchhiking and the spiritual
use of drugs.  So true, so true.  At least for us.  That certainly describes my experience
very well. I felt somehow safe then.  I took a lot of risks, but the only really bad thing
that ever happened to me is that I got hepatitis (infectious).

Love, Joanie

Dear Joanie,

When I tell my story at the bookstores, people come up to me and say "Wow,
that really took me back.  That's just how it was!"

I think we all want to remember the miraculous, regardless of when it occurs
in our lives.

Love, Alicia

Dear Alicia,

The miraculous once experienced never really leaves us.  The memory and even
the continuing experience is always behind everything I do.  When I look back
on those days I realize that I was not always in a state of ecstasy, to say
the least.  Yet I was there enough of the time to treasure that part of my
life.  It was the people, #1, and then the beautiful land.  I was just up
there to visit Delia and it is glorious.  Of course the trees have grown even
taller.

Love, Joanie

  Dear Alicia,
A little over a month ago I bought your cd and I just have to tell you that
it is so deLIGHT-FULL!! I love it. Your songs have a long lasting effect.
Almost everyday I find them floating around in my head, especially when I'm

  Greetings Alicia!

Blessed Equinox and blessed New Moon in Libra. I have been
taking in your website today, and I am so appreciative of your stories while
in Portland Oregon at Full Circle Temple! It yields so much perspective to
see the beauty of the Temple through your eyes, and the amazing stories and
women. Just wanted to send this note of praise and thanks. I hope that this
finds you bedazzlingly held and loved in your journey! We just had a wildly
successful Healing Fair at the Temple, with 50+ woms sharing healings the
day after Equinox. On a radiantly sunny day, inside and outside, the Temple
grounds were warmed by the hearts of so many amazing womyn healing and
praising! May the balance and beauty of this turning time bless you amply.

Warmly,
: ) Marna

  dear alicia~
WHAT AN ABSOLUTE TREASURE YOU ARE.
i remember reading your book in high school, in minneapolis minnesota. it certainly inspired me as a human bean, and as an artist and author.
i just finished my 10th book, and am including your book in the resources.
thank you for forging part of my path as a creatively eccentric soul.
i was brought back to you and your work by my friend and business mentor, ray davi. i've read every journal entry, and deeply honor your journey and your commitment to spirit, and to creativity.
sending you luminous dreams, uncommon elixirs, and a purple chaise lounge.
also, a CD called "donovan's sutras" especially the song "deep peace".
     most splendidly, SARK
